1. What we are
WhyMoves (whymoves.com) is a market-data aggregation and explanation tool: macro calendar, prediction-market odds, historical price stats, AI-written market reads, a chart workbench with backtesting, and short user comments next to charts. We are not a broker, exchange, or investment advisor.
2. Not investment advice
Nothing on this site — including AI reads, historical stats, odds, and other users' comments — is investment advice, an offer, or advisory service. Past patterns don't guarantee the future. You trade at your own risk.
3. Data sources & accuracy
Prices come from Binance/Yahoo Finance, odds from Polymarket, schedules from BLS/Federal Reserve. We label sources and never fabricate: missing data shows as "unavailable". Third-party feeds can lag, break, or err.
4. AI-generated content
"Why It Moves" reads are written by AI from a real-data snapshot at generation time. Attributions are possibilities, not certainties. AI can be wrong; each page keeps its data snapshot for auditing.
5. Accounts & invites
Browsing needs no account. Sign-up requires an invite code; login is via email code (no passwords). Keep your inbox and codes safe — actions under your account are your responsibility. Contact us immediately if you suspect misuse.
6. Your content
Comments you post next to charts remain yours, but you grant us a free licence to display, cache, and moderate them on-site. No illegal or infringing content, ads, external links, solicitation, or trade-signal selling. Violations get hidden or removed (multiple reports auto-hide); serious cases may lose account access. Use the report button to flag anything.
7. Payments & usage
Core features are free. AI calls are metered at real usage (USD, itemized). Free quota resets monthly. Future paid items (usage top-ups, Private tier) are one-time purchases, never auto-renewed.
8. Third-party links & referrals
Our Binance page contains referral links: you get fee cashback, we earn a commission — that's how the site is funded. Entirely optional; check the rules of your jurisdiction first.
9. Intellectual property
The site's interface, code, docs, and data compilations belong to us or our licensors; market and odds data belong to their sources. Your content stays yours (see 6). No bulk scraping, resale, or building competing datasets from this site without permission.
10. Prohibited conduct
Don't bypass rate limits or the invite gate, mass-register, hammer APIs with automation, probe or exploit vulnerabilities, or disrupt the service. Found a security bug? Email us (responsible disclosure) instead of exploiting it. Violators may be limited or removed.
11. Changes & liability
The service is provided "as is"; features may change, pause, or end — major changes will be announced. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of this site.
12. Updates & governing text
These terms may be updated; continued use means acceptance. Disputes should first be resolved amicably. Translations are for convenience — the Chinese version governs. Contact: [email protected].
